My Rock Writing

Rocks
There are three basic types of rock: Igneous, Sedimentary, and Metamorphic. In this writing you are going to find more about the three types of rocks.

Intrusive Igneous rocks crystallize beneath the earth, and the slow cooling that occurs there allows large crystals to form. Extrusion igneous rocks erupt onto the surface, where they cool quickly to form small crystals. Some cool so quickly that they form an amorphous glass.

There are three basic types of Sedimentary rocks but I'm going to tell you about coal, coal is an organic Sedimentary rock that forms from plant debris. Plant debris is a type of food waste that forms from dead branches, leafs etc.

The last rock i’m going to tell you about is Metamorphic rocks, Metamorphic rocks have been modified by heat, pressure, and chemical processes, usually while buried deep below Earth's surface. Exposure to these extreme conditions has altered the mineralogy, texture, and chemical composition of the rocks.

360 Video Writing

Alec Sanders Accident
Yesterday at sunrise Alec Sanders was participating in the snowboarding finals. He started of with a smooth front flip of the ramp then his special moves the Mugols. Alec scored the highest point for the triple flip and the 360 turn at the end. At the bottom of the hill he pushed himself to do a backflip but instead he tripped of the mountain and hit the boulders below. “We need A Ambulance right now” one of the snowboarders shouted. Sanders was bleeding heavily by the time the Ambulance arrived. There was a pool of blood beneath him, the paramedic lifted him onto the stretcher and rolled him into the Ambulance and they rushed off to the hospital. At the hospital a crowd of media had gathered by the time Alec would wake from surgery it would already be in the news! When Alec woke up from surgery he was a little weak from the stitches on his head but he could still snowboard. After a month he was ready to take part in competitions again.

My Narrative Writing

Emerald and the Alarm ClockAs I awoke I heard the alarm clock ringing in my ears “arrgh” I said . I hit the off button and got up from my bouncy bed, it was dark and foggy in my room for some reason but I didn’t mind, I was really getting a bad vibe from my room but I ignored it.Once I freshened up I went back up to my room once I stepped foot into the room somebody swept me  from the room I was about to scream when that person put his hand on my mouth so I couldn’t scream, then We jumped into my alarm clock. It felt like ages until I awoke I stood up from the bright green grass. I thought to myself “where am I”  suddenly someone grabbed me and said “follow the alarm clocks alarm into the dark room”  I did as he said. It wasn’t long until the journey ended.I entered the dark mystic room and i entered another room  and kept on entering rooms  and rooms door to door. Until I entered a room with an alarm clock the same as my room! I jumped right into it and I was back into  my room. I wondered what just happened and why?...

My Story Review

The Girl Who Rode The Wind Review
By Stacy Gregg

There is a twelve year old girl called Lola she dreams of being a horse racer and races in the Palio. Yet she has no choice because her father says no to race in the Palio. One day her grandma stood up for her and she got to race in the Palio in Italy. She has fun and races with her friends and her favourite horse Nico. they say it's a dangerous race but that doesn’t mean anything to her. She won with some injuries. But in the end she became a professional racer like her father. The reason I like this book is because Stacy uses lots of interesting, describing words and how she sets the scene. Here is a the front cover.

My Operetta Writing

The dry ice faded across the stage, it was my turn to start marching I was nervous and excited too. When I reached the person across me the audience was staring right at us. It was quite rushed. But it was an amazing item.

My Character Writing

My Grandad
My Grandad lives in a beautiful place called Fiji in Lautoka and he knows almost everyone there.

He has small spiky hair, a short white beard and he is the handsomest person i’ve ever met.

My Grandad is a kind loving person and that’s why he has thirteen loving grandchildren the 13th one was born last year.

He works in a candy shop with my Grandma. So they can make some money for their house.

My Granddad and his family in Fiji are going to try and make a double story house next to their old house.

About Me!

Hi I’m Samirah and I’m 9. I go
to Hamilton East school. My hobby is reading because when I read I just get into the book and can’t stop. I am going to put all of my learning into my blog, but I am mostly going to put in writing because that's my favourite subject. Feel free to comment. Have a great day.
