Spider Book Review

I would give this story 2 or 3 stars because I like this book but I don't really like some of it because when i looked at it it kinda looked boring I did read it and I did know a few of the facts. But i'm sure most people would like to read it. I do read animal books but this one didn’t really interest me because when I saw the pictures it didn't really hook me into the book.

My Art Holiday Photo's

My Holiday Art Reflection

On Wednesday my Mom, Sister and I went to the Five Cross Roads shopping center. My Mom originally went to get some vegetables from one of the shops. But I asked if I can get some water paints from the Two Dollar shop. So we went and I purchased it. When we got home I quickly opened the package and started painting the thing you will need to paint:
 A bowl of water
A surface that you are allowed to work on
Water paints
 And a brush
First I experimented and tried to paint the paint without water and it Basically it acted like normal paint and I noticed it dried quicker than the water paints with water I did figure out how it happened. In the comments down below write down how you think it dried quickly. Then I used the technique that Edie taught us when we were painting our backgrounds for our apple. She said to always have water on your brush when you're using water paints because it helps blend out the colours really well. In the middle of each colour I blended a little bit of white to see what will happen it didn’t do much but it did help a little to blend.

Maori Myths and Legends

One day Maui was fishing on his boat with his magical hook. He threw his magical hook into the sea and waited. He waited and waited until his rope was pulling, pulling fast. He got up and grabbed his rope he pulled and pulled whatever it was it was heavy. Then he pulled with all his might . Suddenly a gigantic stingray came up and now we call that stingray is a North island.

My Final Reflection for Art

When I Finished my art I was really happy because I worked really hard on it. I still think that I should change my choice of colors. I really liked how it was fiddly because I really like to fiddle with stuff. I would make more of the tree weaving because it looks really beautiful.

My Reflection for Tree Weaving

My Tree Weaving

First Edie gave us plum sticks from her tree at her house then we shaped it in to  a circle and secured it with wool. Then we tied 6 strings of wool on each side of my art and one long one in the middle. After we did a few more steps and we got to the part where we weaved the tree. The hardest part for me was putting on the buttons I still have some more to put on. The only thing I would change about my tree is using different colors.

My Anzac Story

  The Fight
The ANZACs landed at Gallipoli, Peninsula on 25th of april. We have been fighting for at least 3 weeks now, and i'm growing tired.

I was fighting in a field against the Ottoman Turkish defenders. I was so scared. A 19 year old boy fighting in the middle of a field, ¨i'm too young to die¨ I said out loud. Suddenly I heard gunshots going past my head. I then realised that someone was attacking me.

I didn't want to kill anyone, but I also wanted to live. So I began firing, not caring where I was shooting. Then I heard a voice, My commander, he was shouting at me and telling me,
¨ stop shooting everywhere and aim!¨ so I aimed at the shooter and pulled the trigger. As soon as the bullet hit one of them, the enemy started shooting at me as revenge. I sprinted and leapt into one of our shelters. I could hear the gunshots bouncing of the shelter tin. Suddenly I saw a red spot on my body something like the color of blood. I thought I was going to die. So I began saying my goodbyes to my friends and family. As I lay waiting for death I realized I felt no pain, so I inspected my wound upon which i discovered that it was just a Poppy. I laughed freely not caring that I looked like a mentally ill person.

With renewed passion and courage I came out of hiding and faced the enemy with determination. I fought for my family and my Country like a man!
